Dental veneers and Lumineers are thin shells made of porcelain. They are crafted accurately to create a perfect smile. Dental veneers and Lumineers® are bonded over the front surface of the teeth. Smile transformation using dental veneers and Lumineers® at Smiles of Cary

When you visit our office with an idea of a perfect smile, our team firstly asks you question related to what you like and what you dislike about your smile. We take pictures and impressions of your teeth. Our dentist then explains to you what changes in your teeth and gums can create a good-looking smile for you. An acrylic mould of your teeth is created at our office and temporary veneers are designed based on the errors identified. The teeth are prepared to remove some amount of front surface and the temporaries are bonded over them. Permanent veneers get fabricated at the lab. Patients are guided on how to care for temporaries until the permanent ones are ready to be bonded in place. During the second visit the temporaries are removed and the teeth are cleaned. We check the fit of permanent veneers and bond them in place. Patients are advised on how to care for dental veneers.

Transforming the smile using Lumineers is a lot similar to the above procedure except for that there is no teeth preparation required. It is a non-invasive procedure which can bring about marvelous changes in the smile.
